Summer Update

Wow, it’s been a minute. So much has happened in the last month.

I moved back to BC and started a new project out in Revelstoke, BC.

I wanted to just jump on and give a health update and some of the things that have been helping. If you followed any of my winter health issues including a tumour that was removed i wanted to update you and let you know I’m doing great and feeling much better these days. I was suffering from quite a bit of pain and couldn’t quite figure out what was going on but I have had some relief as of late and thought I would share some of the things that I did.

First I pushed through and kept exercising even when it was very hard. I cut the sugar down to a minimum and started starting ALA. I found an amazing chiropractor and stayed committed to my appointment schedule. I changed my desk set up to deal with the ergonomics as I do sit quite a bit while I work and know that my posture has really taken a hit over the years. I decreased the negative stress in my life and added a bunch of positive stress ( more work but happy work). Lot’s of added prayers from my family and friends have been key to the progress in all of it. It’s hard to put my finger on one thing that changed so I have to say it was a combo effect. I guess being nestled in the mountains also doesn’t hurt;)

Anyway, I just thought I’d quickly stop by and remind you that it’s Father’s day this weekend and to get you ahead of the game in gift ideas. I don’t know about you but many of our dads are hardworking men that need support to stay healthy and pain free. Whether your dad works in the office or out in the feild there are a few things he may need.

I always try and stay practical when it comes to gift giving for dad.  If your dad is anything like mine he basically has everything he wants at this point but maybe he neglects some of the things that could help his health. A back support system is something many of us need these days with those long working  hours in front of the screen or spending many hours standing we can all use posture support at some point.

Here are some of my top Dad’s Gift ideas for a healthy happy dad.

Perfect posture – Keep his back straight. Order one for you and him.

Rootine – Personalized vitamins – Keep him healthy nutritionally

Bearaby weighted blankets for solid sleeps

We are wrapping up the Fit Soul Challenge and getting ready for retreat season. Thanks everyone who took part;)
