Better Sleep

Having trouble sleeping? I have a game changer to share with you. I know sleep is in the top 5 most important things in life and if you are losing good sleep, every other part of your life will suffer, no one has time for that. 

Is it nap time yet?

I started researching sleep and ways to help my clients sleep better outside just the obvious eat clean and train. While skimming through research  I came across some ideas about weighted blankets. I wet ahead and grabbed one myself from Bearaby. I wanted to know for myself what all the hype was about. 

The Sleep foundation says that people that are dealing with hight levels of stress can benefit from weighted blankets. That’s not all, they also said that people with autism, depression or ADHD can really benefit from sleeping with a weighted blanket. Looking deeper into it I found some medical research on  WebMD or Pub Med and found that those with a variety of sleeping issues have benefited from weighted blankets.

With that said, I’ve always been a person to need to know from personal experience. I’m not one that really believes in all the hype so from personal experience I can defiantly attest to the better sleep while under my Bearaby. I have a 15lb one and some go up to 25lbs. I don’t think I myself would want anything heavier but that will be a personal preference and depending on your build and strength. 

If you are having trouble sleeping this might be a good idea for you. Don’t take my word for it though, look around and try one for yourself. I do love Bearaby and the colors they have to offer. Also, I think it will be a good Christmas idea when that time comes around. I was even thinking about giving it as a wedding gift as many people are getting married in this season.
