Just the beginning

Stepping into the water is just the beginning of the new life you get to live…

As someone who isn’t afraid to take the word to the test, God has proven His grace, mercy and healing power in my life multiples of times.  He has truly worked His wonders over the last 5 years but the story of His grace started at conception and when I really break it down as I share stories with people it really is remarkable how He works all things together for good for those who are brave enough to believe it. God has recently fortified my own story with testimonies of others who have joined along side me to testify that He will indeed will leave the 99 for the 1 and how He does it in truly miraculous and intricately personal ways for each person. God knows what we need and when we need it more  than we do.  He has no problem getting the message He’s trying to tell us to us and then use us to help others through our stories.  I want to tell you that although the Bible was written as the official “Word of God” and we get to go back to it to keep us encouraged during our own trials, there truly is nothing new to the human condition and our need of a saviour. All the culminate in every impressive story reaches a climax. There is always reprieve for those who trust in God. No, it doesn’t always end where everyone walks away unscathed as many movies in our culture would depict. We need to remember the real story and its origins of the devil (the original so called “angel of light”) who fell because of pride and wanting to be God himself. We know based on the truth that there is always a “Judas” in the story of our lives (so called “good guy” the one that took “care” of the money for Jesus). And we know that the actual good guy looked like He may be the bad guy ( the so called “deceiver” because He wasn’t doing “God” stuff like the church of that day wanted Him to) Jesus, the true one and only Hero who was killed in the worst possible way, although may to some seemed like the final end to the deception, was indeed just the beginning of many more even bountiful miracles, signs and absolute wonders and of the saving of millions of souls as He rose again just when they thought they had Him. Best plot twist of all time! The beginning of the personal stories we would all get to tell of our own climax and redeemed conclusion.

The main thing is every good story involves God’s love, power and sovereignty and eventual revealer of the truth ( His ultimate love for you). Let’s just for a second remember that Judas killed himself in the end, like all those who continue to deny the truth of Jesus as the true one and only God and those who use Him as a gimmick for their own personal gain. God will not be mocked!

Although sometimes it takes a while for the truth to come to the surface, we will all eventually find it if we don’t grow cold in the process of pursuit.  I also want to say that my testimony is not singular but also a contagion that is meant to spread onto everyone who will take a chance and believe. The end of July was met with an over pouring of God’s love in my little community to remind us all that we should never underestimate the humble beginnings. After all, Jesus was born in a manger so what better place to consider the move of God than in a small and humble town here in British Columbia.  It’s not limited by my geographical existence or limited to me and my people, obviously there is nothing new under the sun but for me, it is a great victory as my greatest desire for my generation is that my people would come to know the Lord and that we could come back to the truth and live joyful and free. FREE of addiction, free of poverty, free of divorce, free of abortion, free of debauchery and every other life killing activity that only brings grief. Yes, I realize at times I’m an idealist but redemption is for us all and we in my little circle have experienced and taken part of every one of the things above. None unaffected but all working out our trauma’s of the culture we currently live in. God hates sin because it hurts us! God is working around the world answering the prayers of those mother’s and grandmothers who never gave up hope or prayer.  God is making Himself  known again to many more. I announced last month that Happily Ever starts now and it was a call to the “Wild ones” to take a leap of faith and receive the gift of salvation and oneness with the Father and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and turn back to Him and His love and wisdom. I said it by the power of the Holy Spirit, yet it was not me who moved in the hearts of the those around me. In fact, for many of them I got to witness the baptisms of many I had never really even spoken to before. It’s not anything I can do to help people see, only God can make it happen but I get to see it for myself and that’s an amazing thing to witness. I can not wait to see what He does next.

May God rain hope on you this month as we walk it out and take the next leaps of faith into a whole new life.
