It’s a time to celebrate and just take a moment to be so thankful. March 2nd was Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. If you don’t know what that is, it’s the fast before Easter to recognize the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for our sins. It lasts from March 2nd to April 14th this year. I have not always been an observer of this tradition but this year it seems important, not only because the state of the world but because of the personal understanding that I need God’s grace and mercy on the daily. I have so many things to be thankful for and in that, I want to make sure to revere God and His graces. Perhaps you feel the same?
I got my results back from my tumour removal and it looks like it’s negative for cancer! Just an issue due to chronic inflammation which is still something I’m working through but a much easier pill to swallow. That is a reason to celebrate and praise God all day! I believe this was all part of a journey God has been taking me on to heal, learn, restore and then teach some valuable lessons that I can then share with you. I am beyond grateful for this report and feel so relieved to know that not only does God hear our prayers about health matters but also heart matters as well. He will work through the issues one by one if we are willing.
As I move forward and work through the health issues, I believe I will be back in full swing sooner than later, at this point I want to call it all minor. I am working on a few things in terms of the spiritual aspect of healing as well that I hope will not only complete my healing process but also give you the tools when it’s complete. God has never given me a challenge without giving me the solution through His word and Holy Spirit guidance.
There are few things people fast and I see this being highly beneficial not only on a spiritual aspect but also a physical. Here are a few things you could fast and are quite popular. It should be something that you do regularly that will bring Jesus to mind every time you reach for that thing. It should hurt a bit to remember what Jesus did for you, because what He did was unbearable to imagine.
