Photoshoot Adventures- Crazy Creek

Just a little recap of my Crazy Creek bohemian photoshoot birthday extravaganza. I’m always looking for fun ways to gather my people and if I can talk them into a photoshoot then I’ve really won! I used my birthday as leverage to get people to work with me and I know I shouldn’t have to talk anyone into it but sometimes people just don’t know what they are missing until they try. I was inspired to  believe everyone has beauty and I love capturing it, especially in nature.

Crazy Creek is a great resort for this kind of get together and any other. In fact, I believe it’s the The place for family reunions and retreats. It has a variety of accommodations to fit every budget and they have full kitchens in their suites and cabins so you can cook your own food. We rented a few cabins and an RV site so it was a great place to meet and come back after our waterfall chasing.

First stop was at a nearby waterfall that some of the locals know about where we did this very cold and rainy photoshoot. It was pretty uncomfortable but the pictures turned out perfect so I really can’t complain, overcast for pictures often turn out the best.

Crazy Creek has one of the most beautiful waterfall suspension bridges in the area and serves up some snacks and ice cream in their cute little gift store so after our cold and rainy shoot we went and took some fun selfies there. It does come with a fee but in my opinion, definitely worth it.

After all the chasing waterfalls we came back for one quick group shot in the old Taft ruins just off one of the trails behind resort. It’s pretty cool to have so much history just in our backyard. If you ever go ask the people at the front desk of Crazy Creek where you can find them they will let you know.

Unfortunately it rained most of the day so the ladies were pretty chilly but it worked out amazingly as our next event was to meet the rest of the crew including the husbands and those who were not able to make it to the photoshoot in the Crazy Creek Hotpools

We followed the hotpool dip with dinner and a fire at one of the bigger cabins. I really loved how much space there was to get everyone around that fire. We enjoyed potluck and it was a great time to share, sing songs and just some fun games. It was also great that we were just steps away from our beds and could just enjoy the time to the fullest.

If you are ever in the area and would like to find some cool camping spots or looking for fun activities I highly recommend Crazy Creek Resort.

If you would like to book a photoshoot for yourself or with a mate, your family or the like please contact me for rates and availability. I would love to show you some of the cool spots and take your picture.
