As many of you know I suffered a pretty severe concussion just before Christmas and because such I’ve been behind on launching any new programs that I had planned. I truly needed to heal a bit before taking on any more clients or challenges. I wanted to say that this experience has really motivated me more than ever to get back to training and helping others. I have always known the power of nutrition but it’s even more important now to talk about and continue to teach people. I believe one of the biggest things that have helped me to make progress has been my diet and faith of course.

I’m more aware now what different results I get when I allow treats or things that are not really good for me in. I get just that much more punished it seems when I do, but it’s a great way to really focus for a while on things that maybe would normally go unchecked and creep in over time resulting in less than desirable results or long term health effects many people don’t even think about until it’s too late. It’s hard to be strict but it’s crazy how motivated you become when it’s either being able to be productive or not. It’s true, some people have super genetics and can get away with a lot more than others, but I’m not one of those. I need to be pretty careful what I consume both physically and mentally.

I know all to well how easy it is to fall into bad eating habits or bad thinking, especially when you get knocked down. It’s so important to surround yourself with positive people, messages, and practices. It’s a battle but with help you can come out on top.

When I first realized how bad my head injury was I thought it was over for me. I actually didn’t know if I would come back, would be able to write again or coach or even train. Even now some of those things are tough. I do need to take more breaks than usual but I will fight for a full recovery and I will come back stronger than ever. I will do it while helping others do the same. I will be a cheerleader for the broken as I cheer myself on also. I will not give up and I will not give in.

Please join my newsletter so I can keep you in the loop for when Im ready to launch. It will be very soon as I have cleared everything off my schedule to focus on this.

In the meantime, have a wonderful week and here comes another month that we can do great things.

Cheers.
